GodGames sent us a new group of screenshots from its upcoming civilian flight sim, Fly! II. The game is currently in development at Terminal Reality, the creator of the original Fly!. Fly! II will feature complete navigational and visual tools to help both new and experienced pilots get the most out of the game.

Some of the tools featured in the game include visual flight rules (VFR), a navigational system that uses stars, highways, and other visual landmarks as references; instrument flight rules (IFR), a more complex navigational system that relies on the aircraft's instruments for reference, and global positioning system (GPS), an advanced navigation system that relies on a network of satellites to triangulate a precise position. The game will also include National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration sectional and navigation charts and a true latitude-and-longitude coordinate system for accurate placement of ground features anywhere on the globe.

For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game. Fly! II is scheduled for release at the end of April.
