THQ has today announced the release of Star Wars: Flight of the Falcon for the Game Boy Advance in both North America and Europe. Developed by LucasArts, the game features 14 combat missions set around the same time as the original Star Wars movie trilogy and will see players taking the controls of such Star Wars favorites as the Millennium Falcon, X-Wing fighters, and land speeders.

"Star Wars: Flight of the Falcon offers players the opportunity to experience all the action of the most celebrated vehicles and spacecraft from the Star Wars universe on the Game Boy Advance," said Liz Allen, director of marketing for LucasArts. "We're excited to bring this handheld title to Game Boy Advance owners and Star Wars game fans everywhere."

Star Wars: Flight of the Falcon features arcade-style gameplay and sees players doing battle with TIE fighters and the like in a number of different locales, including the skies of Yavin and Endor, asteroid fields, canyons, and alongside huge Imperial capital ships.
