A24 has released the first full, proper trailer for the film Men. The upcoming horror drama is written and directed by Alex Garland (Devs, Ex Machina).

Unlike the previous teaser, which was almost completely wordless, this newly-released two-minute clip has plenty of dialog. It also, in that amount of time, manages to go from depicting a quaint countryside that subtly though quickly feels like a hellscape. Here's the film's official synopsis: "In the aftermath of a personal tragedy, Harper (Jessie Buckley) retreats alone to the beautiful English countryside, hoping to have found a place to heal. But someone or something from the surrounding woods appears to be stalking her. What begins as simmering dread becomes a fully-formed nightmare, inhabited by her darkest memories and fears."

In addition to Buckley, Men also stars Rory Kinnear (notable for his appearances as Bill Tanner in the Daniel Crag era of James Bond films) and Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You) in undisclosed roles. Given Garland's track record and how well Ex Machina and Annihilation performed commercially--netting $36.9 million and $43.1 million respectively.

Men will be in theaters on May 20.

Devs is available on Hulu, and Ex Machina is available on Prime Video.
