First Set Photo From HBO's The Last Of Us Shows The Miller Family Together

Actor Gabriel Luna, who plays Tommy in HBO's upcoming The Last of Us TV show, has shared what appears to be the first image from the production.

Posted to Instagram, the image shows Luna and Joel actor Pedro Pascal in a car, with actress Nico Parker, who plays Sarah, sitting in the back.

It's all smiles in this photo, but some are suggesting that this photo could have more clues than meets the eye. Entertainment Weekly, for example, speculates that the image could be from the start of the story when Joel, Tommy, and Sarah try to escape from their home as the fungus overtakes the people in town.

Writer Craig Mazin has said The Last of Us TV show will follow the story of the original game, so it could include that heart-wrenching opening sequence, though the writer also assured people that the show won't be a beat-for-beat re-telling of the game.

Game of Thrones actress Bella Ramsey plays Ellie in The Last of Us TV show, while Merle Dandridge, who played Marlene in the original game, reprises her role in the HBO series.
