THQ and developer Relic Entertainment have today released the first morsels of information on Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War. The futuristic strategy title, which is based on Games Workshop's tabletop game of the same name, is currently scheduled for release in September.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War will feature four playable races, and, in addition to having epic single-player campaigns, it will support multiplayer skirmishes for up to six players. According to THQ the game will feature an improved resource model that "focuses action on the front line and minimizes the tedium of resource gathering." We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
