First look: Warcommander

German game developer Independent Arts is currently working on a real-time strategy game set in Europe during World War II. The game is described as a blend of Sudden Strike and Commandos, and it will feature two full single-player campaigns with 30 different levels. Players command a force of up to 50 soldiers, which are chosen from a selection of 11 different types of units, each with unique strengths and weaknesses.
