First look: Summoner 2

THQ has officially announced that Summoner 2 is currently in development for the PlayStation 2. The story takes place 20 years after Joseph united the eight rings of summoning and became the god Urath. Players will assume the role of Pava, Queen of Halassar, a character who bears a strange mark and has the ability to summon strange creatures. Pava will have to venture across new lands to fight the armies of Urath and the King of Galdyr, fulfill the prophecy, and eventually become the goddess Laharah, but she won't have to do it alone. Several new characters, ranging from gladiators to assassins, will join Pava on her quest, but only three can be controlled in a party a single time.
