First look: Revolution

Activision Value's upcoming sci-fi action game Revolution is set in a futuristic metropolis. Players will assume the role of a lowly maintenance worker in the Corporation, a huge company that is using its genetic engineering and cloning technology to develop an advanced kind of human known as The Breed. The player is contacted by a member of an underground resistance force ready to take a stand against the Corporation.

Through the course of more than 30 single-player levels, players will be able to play for both the Corporation and the Resistance. The game will feature 19 different customizable weapons and more than 30 different characters. In addition to the single-player campaign, the game will feature several multiplayer modes including deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag, survival, and most wanted. The game engine will support physically accurate character death effects, realistic vehicle physics, and breakable objects.

Revolution is scheduled for release in October. We've posted some screenshots in the gallery above that show off some of the game's characters and environments, and we'll post more information as it becomes available.
