First look: nTrap
AGD Software's upcoming sci-fi action game will let players control a variety of advanced vehicles including submarines, spaceships, and hovercraft.
Austrian game developer AGD Software's upcoming sci-fi action game nTrap will let players control several types of high-speed vehicles in a number of counterespionage missions. In the game's futuristic world, information is stored in living creatures, making it necessary to capture fugitives alive in order to preserve the integrity of the data.
Players assume the role of a member of the Earth Defense Corps, a governmental agency dedicated to protecting the planet from outside threats. They will control advanced submarines, spaceships, hovercraft, and other advanced vehicles, and they can customize them with a variety of modular devices and weapons.
The game is built on AGD's proprietary Magrathea simulation engine, which uses realistic physics models for objects, vehicles, weapons, light, wind, and water. No official publisher or release date for nTrap has been announced. For more information about the game, visit the AGD Software Web site.
