First look: Nefandus: The Wrath of Angels

Czech developer Black Element Software recently unveiled the official Web site for its new 3D action-adventure game, Nefandus: The Wrath of the Angels. The influence of other similar games in the genre - such as Alone in the Dark or Capcom's Resident Evil series - is clearly visible. Nefandus has a dynamic camera that changes according to player movements or the onscreen actions of enemy characters. The game runs on a proprietary engine that's capable of producing realistic fog, shadows, and lighting effects, as well as large environments filled with a high level detail.

Nefandus: The Wrath of Angels is currently in early beta, and a final beta test is expected this summer. There has been no word on an official release date.
