First look: Monsters Inc. Scream Arena

THQ has released a bunch of new screenshots from Monsters Inc. Scream Arena. In the game, players dodge, throw, and duck their way through seven arenas inspired by the animated movie Monsters Inc. Players assume the role of characters from the movie like Mike, Sulley, and Randall.

The characters throw "laugh balls" in an attempt to be the first to fill their laugh canisters with children's laughter. Players will be able to unlock hidden characters and bonus stages and save their progress on a Nintendo memory card. Scream Arena has multiplayer support for up to four players and a number of game modes, including game knockout, countdown, and hot potato.

Monsters Inc. Scream Arena is scheduled to ship this month.
