An unnamed three-man development team working out of Europe has just released the first full version of a racing game named Live for Speed. The game, which can be downloaded from the official Live for Speed Web site, currently features six very different cars and three different circuits that can be raced in regular, reverse, and rally configurations.

Live for Speed version S1 is free to download, although certain features, including three of the cars, two of the tracks, a drag strip, and online play become available only upon payment of a nominal fee. Further tracks and features are already in development for Live for Speed, although the exact contents of versions S2 and S3 have not been announced at this time.

For more information on Live for Speed, you might like to check out the game's official Web site, which, in addition to offering the game itself for download, features an FAQ section, its own forum, and pages where players can post their best lap times on each of the game's tracks. We'll bring you more information on Live for Speed as soon as it becomes available.
