Cenega Publishing has released information on Korea: Forgotten Conflict via the game's recently launched official site. The game, which has been in development at Plastic Reality Technologies since September 2001, is set in Korea during the conflict between North and South, and it is described as being in the style of Pyro Studios' Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines .

As the leader of a group of military specialists incorporating rangers, snipers, demolition experts, and medics, players will have to fight their way through five different campaigns totaling around 15 missions. Specific mission objectives in the game will include rescuing POWs, capturing enemy personnel, securing buildings, protecting convoys, and capturing or sabotaging enemy facilities. Locales in the game will include enemy bases, airfields, railway stations, factory facilities, POW camps, historical palaces, and monasteries, among others.

Korea: Forgotten Conflict is currently scheduled for release on the Xbox and PC in the second quarter of this year. We'll bring you more information on the game as it becomes available.
