Mindware, a new studio based in Prague, has announced Cold War, an action game that follows the adventures of Chaser Jones, a journalist chasing stories in the middle of the USSR at the height of the Cold War. Chaser Jones winds up in the middle of a far-reaching conspiracy after discovering a plot to sabotage the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Although stealth and investigation are big parts of the game, this journalist will have good weapons on hand when he needs them. To get where he's not wanted, Jones can disable alarms, pick locks, and confound security cameras. Cold War will re-create a number of locations deep inside communist territory, including Red Square, Chernobyl, and Baikonur, the Soviet space center.

Cold War is expected to ship first for the PC, and it may be followed by Mac and Linux versions. For more information, check out Mindware's official site.
