Fire Emblem: Awakening 3DS bundle revealed
$200 special-edition bundle due February 4 includes a preinstalled copy of strategy game and blue system with Fire Emblem artwork.
Nintendo will mark the February 4 launch of Fire Emblem: Awakening with a special-edition 3DS hardware bundle. The $200 pack will include a specially designed blue system with a preinstalled copy of the game and a 4GB SD card.
Fire Emblem: Awakening is the first entry in the turn-based series for the 3DS. It focuses on the story of Lord Chrom and his companions as they come together to vanquish evil from the world. A demo for the game will be available in the Nintendo eShop on January 17.
In addition, Nintendo will release day-one DLC for Fire Emblem: Awakening. Beginning on launch day, players can purchase additional maps, though the first will be free for a limited time. Additional maps will be made available on a weekly basis.
