Find Out How C-3PO Got its Red Arm in Upcoming Marvel Comic
You probably didn't recognize C-3PO because of the red arm.
While C-3PO appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, many people are wondering where the droid got its red arm. C-3PO even alludes to the change in the film, but there's no answers to why or how it happened. This March, Marvel Comics will answer the question in the upcoming Star Wars Special: C-3PO #1. The company revealed a new photo cover for the comic recently.
The one-shot story will be written by James Robinson and drawn by Tony Harris. This is the same creative team behind the critically-acclaimed DC series Starman. The comic will follow C-3PO and the events that led to the droid getting a red arm.
This is the second story in what Marvel has titled "The Journey to Force Awakens." Last year, Marvel put out a four issue mini-series titled Shattered Empire, which takes place right after the events of Return of the Jedi and followed Poe Dameron's parents, both of which were Rebel Pilots.
Star Wars Special: C-3PO will hit comic stores in March.
