Final Free Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Update Detailed
Title Update 5 releases September 30 and introduces the Elder Dragon Fatalis, along with new gear and a new Halloween event.
Capcom has shared some details on Monster Hunter World: Iceborne's final free update, Title Update 5. The patch is scheduled to release September 30 and will introduce yet another Elder Dragon to hunt, along with new gear to craft, a new in-game event to enjoy, and more.
As detailed during the publisher's recent Developer Diary stream, Title Update 5 will introduce the Elder Dragon Fatalis to Iceborne. Defeat the powerful monster and you'll be able to craft new gear, weapons, and a special costume out of the materials it drops.
In addition to Fatalis, Title Update 5 will bring a new Event Quest. This one will send players off to hunt an Arch-Tempered version of Velkhana. You can take a look at the Iceborne roadmap below.
That's not all that's on the way to Iceborne this fall; a new autumn event will kick off shortly after Title Update 5 releases. The Autumn Harvest Fun Fright Fest will run from October 16 to November 5, and it'll feature new Halloween-themed gear to earn, as well as spooky new costumes for the Handler and your Poogie. You can watch the full Developer Diary stream below.
Before Title Update 5 arrives, Capcom is hosting a "fest rush" event. Players will have another chance to participate in previous Iceborne events for three weeks leading up to Title Update 5's release. There will also be one new Event Quest each week during the fest rush; each of these will take place in the Seliana Supply Cache and features a different monster to hunt.
