Final Fantasy X set for January 2002

Square Electronic Arts has announced that Final Fantasy X will be released for the North American PlayStation 2 in January 2002. The game, which stars two characters named Tidus and Yuna, is currently available in Japan and has sold more than 2 million units since its release in that territory on July 19. It is the first PlayStation 2 game to sell more than 2 million copies. The North American version of the game will include a veteran voice cast. James Arnold Taylor, who appeared in the feature film A Moment of Silence, will provide the voice for Titus, and Hedy Burress, whose credits include television series such as First Monday and Boston Common will provide the voice for Yuna.
