Nintendo today shipped Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls for the Game Boy Advance. The title contains the first two role-playing games in Square Enix's popular Final Fantasy series, originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in the early 1990s. The two games were previously rereleased for the PlayStation as Final Fantasy Origins in 2003, and the GBA editions games sport improved graphics, enhanced sound, and new dungeons to explore.

Final Fantasy retains a lot of the improvements made in the PlayStation version, including better save capabilities and gameplay tweaks. In the game, four characters must band together and use the power of light and four crystals to defeat evil.

In this latest version of Final Fantasy II, four orphans work together to free their world from the clutches of evil. Included in the new version is a more-advanced leveling system and a bonus adventure that follows characters into the afterlife.

Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls is rated E and has an SRP of $34.99.
