Final Fantasy Explorers Confirmed for US, Release Date Announced
3DS role-playing game coming to North America in January 2016.
3DS role-playing game Final Fantasy Explorers is coming stateside. Square Enix on Thursday announced that the game, released in Japan last year, will arrive in North America on January 26, 2016.
The Japanese publisher also released a new trailer for the game, which you can watch below.
Explorers follows a group of adventurers known as Explorers who seek to collect pieces of a mysterious Grand Crystal. You can play as several different characters, including a knight, monk, black mage, and white mage, and online co-op lets you team up with friends.
Some of the powers at your disposal include Summons such as Ifrit and Bahamut. You can also use a trance feature to transform into other characters. For more on Explorers, check out GameSpot's video preview below from last year's Tokyo Game Show.
