After debuting footage of Final Fantasy VII Remake, Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura announced that the port was due out today. It doesn't appear to be out just yet, but Sony reaffirmed on Twitter that it is coming to the PlayStation Store at some point before the end of the day.

A price was not shared for the port. For reference, the version sold on Steam (of which this a port) goes for $12, while the existing PS1 Classics version on PSN costs $10.

The PC port was expected to make its debut on PS4 soon when trophies for the game were recently discovered. These are mostly the same as what's seen on Steam, albeit with a few changes.

[Update] The game is now live on the PlayStation Store. Its regular price is $16, but you can get it for $10.87 right now.
