Final Fantasy XV's soundtrack will launch on a four-disc CD set on March 24, distributor Sony Classic has announced. The huge soundtrack includes 96 songs, featuring compositions from Yoko Shimomura. She also worked on Street Fighter II, Kingdom Hearts, and Xenoblade Chronicles.

The album is available to preorder now on Amazon for $30 (via DualShockers). It was released in Japan in December 2016 and has been available to import from Square Enix's store and other places.

Final Fantasy XV's music was performed by the Video Game Orchestra and the Força Choir.

Square Enix also worked with singer Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine for a beautiful cover of "Stand by Me" that was featured in a trailer for Final Fantasy XV. This song is not on the official soundtrack, but is available on Spotify and other streaming services.

Final Fantasy XV launched in November 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November, going on to ship more than 6 million copies. At the Game Developers Conference last week, Square Enix showed a Final Fantasy XV tech demo running on PC, but this doesn't mean the game is confirmed for the new platform.
