Final Aliens: Colonial Marines DLC out now
$10 single-player Stasis Interrupted expansion tells the story of what happened to Hicks between Aliens and Alien 3.
Sega today launched the final expansion pack for Aliens: Colonial Marines. As was rumored, the single-player content is titled Stasis Interrupted. It tells the story of what happened to Corporal Hicks between Aliens and Alien 3.
During Stasis Interrupted, gamers will play as three different characters through an "interlocking" story. Players must fight their way through an alien-infested spaceship to find what Michael Weyland is after in the process of discovering what actually happened to Hicks.
Players who already own the Aliens: Colonial Marines Season Pass are urged not to purchase the $10 Stasis Interrupted pack, because they will be charged twice.
Aliens: Colonial Marines launched in February to a fairly negative critical reception, but this did not keep the game from shipping 1.31 million copies to date. The Wii U version of the game was later canceled and a false advertising lawsuit launched against Sega and Gearbox Software.
