FFVII Goes International

The 'International' version of Final Fantasy VII has more than just the improvements in the US version.

Comments

When Square releases Final Fantasy VII International on October 2, it will include more than just the changes/improvements present in the US version. It will also come complete with a fourth CD, which has additional details on the making of the game, a data file containing maps of almost every area, and descriptions of each enemy in the game and its weaknesses.

The additional fourth disc will probably make it more than a worthwhile purchase for Japanese gamers who have been starved for Final Fantasy information since last January. Unfortunately, US gamers lost out on this fourth CD.

Here are some screenshots if you're curious to see the kind of information that the fourth disc contains. These are courtesy of Famitsu Weekly.
