We're just days away from the release of the trailer for Fast & Furious 9. A new poster for the upcoming May film and a teaser trailer have been revealed. The full trailer will arrive on Friday. [Update: F9 tickets are now on sale, and even better than that, the first full Fast and Furious 9 trailer is officially here. It was released as part of a lengthy live event/concert, but it was worth the wait, even including the surprising return of a beloved character.]

As life goes on, you get old, and there comes a point in your life where you can't live you life a quarter mile at a time any longer. This is the mid-life crisis Dominic Toretto is going through in the new teaser for Fast & Furious 9, which you can see below.

Looks like Toretto (played by Vin Diesel) has settled down and lives on a farm with his son Brian and Letty Ortiz (played by Michelle Rodriguez). Apparently, something is coming, and it's dangerous, but we won't learn more until this Friday.

The Road To F9 concert is happening on that day, and during it, the trailer for the movie will drop. The concert begins at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET, and you can livestream the event on the Fast Saga YouTube page. The show will feature perfomances from Cardi B--who is rumored to be in the movie--Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth, Ozuna, and of course, Ludacriss-who is reprising his role as Tej Parker. Additionally, a movie poster was revealed, and you can check that out below.

The latest installment in the franchise is promised to be the most ambitious film to date, according to director Justin Lin. Considering that the series was originally a film all about cars that's spun out and become essentially a superhero franchise, that seems exceptionally likely, especially after seeing how crazy the Hobbs & Shaw spin-off was.

While The Rock won't be rejoining the cast for this edition, there are plenty of new fresh faces joining the Fast & Furious Universe, including John Cena and Michael Rooker. Additionally, Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren will be reprising their roles from The Fate of the Furious as cyberterrorist Cipher and Magdalene Shaw--Deckard Shaw's mother--respectively.

We'll learn more about what's going on in the latest entry into the action franchise when the trailer drops on Friday. Fast & Furious 9 drives its way into theaters--and our hearts--on May 22.
