Ubisoft has announced a new figurine based on Far Cry 5's cult leader, Joseph Seed. The statue is called "The Father's Calling," and it shows the Eden's Gate leader in his trademark pose: shirtless and raising a rifle to the sky to inspire his followers.

The figure stands 32cm tall and is made of PVC. The gun that Joseph is holding is removable, as is the sceptre on the base. The Joseph figure is part of the Ubicollectibles line and was made in partnership with developer Ubisoft Montreal. According to its listing on the Australian Ubisoft Store, it will go for $89; pre-orders are open now and the figure ships on March 22.

In Far Cry 5, players are trying to take down Joseph, who leads the doomsday cult Eden's Gate. Joseph's message and teaching inspires the people of Hope County, Montana to rise up and take over, violently, and you'll be tasked with restoring order. It is the first Far Cry game to be set in America.

After a delay, Far Cry 5 is now due out on March 27 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. One of the big new additions is the ability to use dogs to distract enemies and pick up weapons for you. Other classic open-world gameplay opportunities such as flying planes are also available. For lots more on Far Cry 5, check out all of GameSpot's previous written and video coverage here.
