Torment: Tides of Numenera is set for a 2016 release, after getting delayed last year. Although we're not exactly sure when Torment will come out, a new song for the game by Fallout composer Mark Morgan has been released.

The new song is the theme for Sagus Cliffs' exterior zones. Morgan is currrently working on the entire soundtrack for the spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment, which he also composed music for. His previous work also includes Fallout, Fallout 2, and Wasteland 2.

Also released is a picture that shows off Circus Minor, one of the four districts of Sagus Cliffs. You can see the heart of Sagus Cliffs posted below.

The Torment sequel's beta launches on January 17 for all eligible Kickstarter backers. Everyone else can join when the game enters Steam Early Access on January 26. Project lead Kevin Saunders left developer inXile last year, assuring fans that he was leaving the game "in capable hands."
