Fall Guys Season 2 is on the way to add content to one of 2020's most exciting and popular games. Developer Mediatonic originally revealed new medieval-themed minigames and costumes during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2020 and have shown off more since then.

Knight Fever, an axe-filled nightmare, is the first mini-game that was revealed. It's another race where players have to balance on spike-filled logs and dodge a new obstacle named 'Thicc Bonkus' in order to make it to the finish line. A giant castle for tail tag and a new block-pushing game where you have to climb over castle walls are also coming. These games, and others, will join a regular rotation of games that includes everything from Season 1. The game won't lose any mini-games when the new season starts on October 8.

Mediatonic is bringing a number of requested features to the game. The studio showcased a costume randomizer, special name plates, loading screens that show all squadmates falling, and a battle pass that includes more crowns as rewards. Mediatonic has also addressed some issues by making individual colors for team games more distinct to avoid confusion.

New costumes, including knights, wizards, witches, vikings, and dragons are getting added via the item shop and battle pass for Season 2. Fan-favorite costumes, like the Team Fortress 2 Scout, are making a return to the item shop as well.

Fall Guys designer Joe Walsh talked about upcoming seasons briefly during an appearance on Talk Guys, a Fall Guys talk show, in August. He mentioned that Mediatonic would like future seasons to have themes similar to the medieval theme in Season 2. A space theme was brought up as one possibility.

Players have been speculating about what other content could come past Season 2. They've dug up old clips of a special nighttime version of Block Party. Players hope it gets added as a variant for October to give the game a Halloween vibe.
