GameSpot has learned that Ritual Entertainment is interested in developing Heavy Metal F.A.K.K. 2 for the Sega Dreamcast. At this time, the game's final Dreamcast fate is dependent on the approval of Sega and the game's publisher, Gathering of Developers. Ritual Entertainment's CEO, Ron Diamant, told GameSpot that the company is comfortable with the Dreamcast development environment and would very much like to bring F.A.K.K. 2 to Sega's console. According to Daimant, the game's control scheme and action gameplay lends itself well to the console environment.

F.A.K.K 2 puts the player in the role of the lead character Julie in a third-person action game. It is based on the sci-fi world of the Heavy Metal comic magazine and uses the Quake III engine. GameSpot will bring you further details as they become available.
