Fable Legends beta in 2014
Lionhead Studios planning prerelease testing period for the multiplayer game next year; Fable 4 not in development.
Lionhead Studios will reveal details for a Fable Legends beta in 2014, the developer announced in a new FAQ on its website. 
Fable Legends, a multiplayer-focused Xbox One adventure game set in Albion, was announced on Tuesday during Microsoft's Gamescom event. The game has no release date.
No details about what the Fable Legends beta will feature was announced.
Also in the FAQ, Lionhead Studios confirmed that Fable Legends is the only new core game in development at the studio. The company has "no plans" to make a sequel to Fable III, it said.
Lionhead Studios is also developing the Xbox 360 game Fable: Anniversary, a high-definition update of the original role-playing game.
