Poland-based game developer Techland sent us a new video trailer from Chrome, its upcoming sci-fi shooter. The trailer runs for just under one minute, and it shows off some of the detailed 3D environments that will appear in the game.

Chrome is set in a distant star system on a series of newly colonized planets. Players assume the role of Logan, an interstellar bounty hunter caught in the midst of war over valuable mineral deposits. The game will feature 10 distinct locations including tropical jungles, underground mines, futuristic military bases, orbital bases, and moons. Players will have access to a wide range of weapons such as knives, pistols, sniper rifles, machine guns, plasma rifles, flamethrowers, and rocket launchers. Items such as flashlights, radar, sonar, med kits, stimulators, and various explosives will also be available in the game. In addition, players can upgrade their characters using implants, which will improve characteristics such as accuracy, health, and speed.

Chrome is scheduled for release this spring. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
