Exclusive: Arcanum Beta Signups
Sierra and GameSpot will accept ten more beta testers for this distinctive role-playing game by the creators of Fallout. Revised submission info inside.
From now until Thursday, GameSpot will be accepting applications from readers who wish to participate in the singleplayer beta test of Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura, the upcoming role-playing game from Sierra and Troika Games. The official beta signups opened today at the Arcanum site, and we have an additional ten openings open exclusively to GameSpot readers. The "Chapter One" test version of Arcanum will contain the first 20 percent of the singleplayer game.

Your computer's system information, including:
- CPU Speed
- RAM
- Video Card
- Video RAM
- Sound Card
- Internet Connection

This information will only be used for the purposes of this drawing. The Arcanum beta requires at least a Pentium II 300, 32MB RAM, an 8MB or higher video card, and 500 MB of free hard drive space. You may enter the drawing only once or else your entry will be void. The ten winners will be chosen at random, and will be announced this coming Friday, September 29.
