Fishtank Interactive's role-playing game Evil Islands: Curse of the Lost Soul has gone gold and will soon ship to stores. The game was created by Russian development studio Nival Interactive, and it is set in the Rage of Mages fantasy universe. Players assume the role of a character who has lost all memory, and as the game progresses, they will discover clues about the character's identity and gain control of additional characters. Battles in the game are designed to require tactical thinking, because the enemies encountered are often stronger or more numerous than the party of characters.

For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game. Evil Islands: Curse of the Lost Soul is scheduled for release next week for an approximate retail price of $39.99.
