EverQuest: The Planes of Power tops sales chart

Sony Online's EverQuest expansion pack goes straight to the top of the PC sales chart in its first week.

Sony Online's EverQuest: The Planes of Power expansion pack claimed the top spot on the NPD PC sales chart in its first week on sale. RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, which was on top last week, slipped two places to number three, while The Sims: Unleashed retained its number-two position.

This week's other new entries were Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania at number six and Infogrames' Backyard Baseball at number 10. The three games bumped out of the top 10 by this week's new entries were Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Battlefield 1942, and Globalstar's Racing Games 5-Pack.
