Europe to get 36 Wii VC titles through March

This is a good list. The Virtual Console is shaping up nicely. It could overtake Live! Arcade if they keep releasing games at this rate. And if they made the games playable on the Wii the DS, that would be the icing on the cake.

What about Streets of Rage 2 and 3? Are they going to come out for the Wii aswell? Please Nintendo.. Give us more details and Info!

Hope they release original Mario Kart :) But nice to see VC actually being good as opposed to a rarely used gimmick

Nice to see those games coming out here in the UK. But what i really want are secret of mana, super mario rpg, sin and punishment, banjo tooie, winback and hybrid heaven.

Yay! Ocarina! Yay! Mario Kart! Yay! Super Mario World! Now i know you Americans are complaining that you have to wait, (welcome to our world) but i'm willing to bet that you get these games first... But it would be great if we were the onlys ones to get OoT for about 6 months/

why can't Nintendo release old games to VC worldwide instead of region by region? is it that difficult to do?

Look at it this way, they these games are OLD, so you are not really getting anything special other then ported copy. When there is a new release (maybe end of 2007) we get it first.

You get almost every single product first so be patient for once like we have for so long, its not like Nintendo is only going to give Europeans OoT :P

Mario Kart 64, Ocarina of Time, and Super Mario World? Now that's the good stuff. I guess it's not too long before Nintendo gets those games out in America, and when they do, they'll about quadruple the Virtual Console's worth in gamers' eyes.

This is great. I bought a Wii to download old games for $10 each. Sweet. Now I only have to wait another year and a half for a "new" release.

Sweet, OOT seems to be good but who needs it when you have either Collectors edition or the bonus disk with Wind Waker to play it with? Easier enough to play it via disk than buy it on the shop.

SCREW EUROPE... the US doesn't have Donkey Kong Country, and we don't have Mario Kart 64, Ocarina of Time or Super Mario World. You know what we got? Urban Champion... and the shaft.

In reference to babyooshkas comment: Wikipedia is your official source? Please, you try to insult ppl asking when US VCs are coming out but aside Sega no one has really announced. So dont try to slam US ppl for asking when wikipedia is based off rumors and ESRB ratings, which tell us only that a games been reviewed and everything thereafter is speculation

Woot. This, together with my Wi-Fi USb key and the next announcement of Star Points conversions, will make me a very happy man.

i agree with meimnobody ebay and car boot sales are another matter, but buying these games from a professional second hand store (gamestation, amazon) is about the same price, maybe slightly more for the actual cart. i'm just waiting for them to let us buy wii points in the stars catalogue. finally, my 7500 stars will have a use!

What are these Nintendo Stars? Are they only for Europe? That sounds like a sweet deal to get some free Wii Points for buying other Nintendo products.

JLCrogue actually no the carts on a lot of the VC games are more expensive then you would think. Nintendo priced the games on to what the market would sustain. For those that want to hock the wii online contact your isp and see if the USB wifi connector works. AOL and a few other ISPs block it but don't block out certain routers. There is a hack to get around the AOL situation but not the other ISPs.

Thats a very good lineup already.

It's so much cheaper to buy the original titles on the actual console than these virtual ones... it shouldn't be that way.

i dont give a damn about the virtual console ---a) i cant hook to the wii online B) all the uk ones are crappy pal ones with black boxes C) why should i waste money on games that were sold nearly 8 years or more ago

If Euro gets 'em so will we... eventually.

I hope the wait for North America isn't long! I would really like some of the VC games!
