Take-Two Interactive today announced its upcoming flight combat simulation, Eurofighter Typhoon. The game is set in Iceland in the early 21st century, and it will let players control six skilled pilots in more than 100 missions. Objectives include ground strikes, interceptions, escorting, and air combat. The game will feature more than 32 types of aircraft, including the technologically advanced Eurofighter Typhoon, a stealthy and agile twin-engine jet designed to operate from small runways. Other aircraft featured in the game include the MiG 29, the S-37, and the TU-22. Players will have access to a wide range of equipment, such as the Pirate infrared system, the Mauser 27mm cannon, and the Meteor BVR missile.

The game will feature an advanced single-player campaign system that will let players take part in event-driven scenarios that mimic real-life events. In addition, the game will include complete multiplayer support for up to eight players in a variety of modes including head-to-head, touch-and-go, deathmatch, team deathmatch, king of the skies, Typhoon racer, and cooperative play.

Eurofighter Typhoon is in development at Rage Software, and it is scheduled for release in July. For more information, visit the game's official http://www.eurofighter-typhoon.netWeb site.
