Take-Two plans to release versions of Three Lions in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the US.

Already the world's most popular sport, soccer is going to get even more fans as Take-Two Interactive announced an agreement with The Football Association to call its new PlayStation soccer title, Three Lions: The Official England Team. The title, which just recently shipped, will be followed by a PC sibling in May.

Why target the UK market? English fans are currently awaiting the announcement of the English World Cup '98 team roster. The competition will take place in France this summer. Take-Two plans to release versions of the game in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the US.

In case you're wondering what Three Lions refers to, it is the crest of The Football Association that presides over all the amateur and professional soccer leagues in the UK.
