Oxygen Interactive has today announced that it will publish Euro Rally Champion in Europe in September. Currently in development for the PC and PlayStation 2, the game employs an advanced version of the IndyCar Series engine and, like that game, will allow players to tweak and customize their chosen car in an attempt to improve its performance.

In addition to the requisite time trial and championship mode, Euro Rally Champion will feature special "extreme exhibition" stages designed to push players to the limit with perilous slopes and gigantic jumps. Head-to-head multiplayer modes of play will also be supported, although no more specific information is available at this time.

Euro Rally Champion is currently scheduled for release in Europe on September 10 and will carry a suggested retail price of 19.99 pounds ($37). We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
