Sports network's latest console hoopster dribbles out to stores today.

ESPN NBA Basketball, the latest basketball title from Sega Sports and Visual Concepts, shipped out to the retail court today.

The game features similar gameplay as Sega's NBA 2K3 (it was originally titled NBA 2K4) but adds new passing options, the 24/7 street basketball mode, and the IsoMotion control system for improved realism and control. Available for PlayStation 2 and Xbox, the game will support online play, with including downloadable content, voice chat, and online leagues.

The game also features the likenesses of over 500 real-life NBA players, and features the Philadelphia 76ers' Allen Iverson on the cover.

ESPN NBA Basketball is rated "E" for everyone, and carries an MSRP of $49.99.

GameSpot may get a commission from retail offers.
