ESPN is entering the game world with NBA Tonight, National Hockey Night, and X Games Pro Boarder. All three games will be released for PCs and the PlayStation.
National Hockey Night will benefit from more than 1,000 lines of color commentary of Gary Thorne and Steve Levy, and players can select from all 27 NHL teams and 16 world teams. And if players choose old rivals, the gameplay gets more intense, as it would in real life.
X Games Pro Boarder has all the top boarders, latest gear, eight levels of play, and players can ride anywhere on one mountain. There's also a rookie mode, which allows less experienced players to pull off cool jumps with two buttons; more advanced players can use the full eight button moves.
NBA Tonight is a 3D basketball game, with ESPN anchors and something called read and react AI, which helps the ball players analyze a situation on the floor and react appropriately. For a full preview of NBA Tonight, click on the link to the right.
Watch for all three this October.
