Enix officially announces Dragon Quest IV

The remake version of Dragon Quest IV is heading to the Japanese PlayStation.

Enix today confirmed previous reports by announcing that it will release Dragon Quest IV for the Sony PlayStation. The remake will have additional features, such as 3D polygonal graphics and the so-called party-talk system, which were first introduced in Dragon Quest VII. The game is scheduled for release sometime this year in Japan, with a price tag of 6,800 yen (US$57). The company expects to sell more than 1 million copies of the game. The company has not announced any plans to release the game in North America.
