French developer Ankama Studio announced this week that it will release an English-language version of its massively multiplayer online role-playing game Dofus this September. Set in the colorful fantasy world of Ankama, Dofus lets players both create characters and join rival sides in a quest to collect six dragon eggs of mysterious power. In preparation for the fall launch, Ankama is looking for English-speaking beta testers. The test period doesn't begin until summer, but interested gamers can register now at the game's official Web site. Available in French since last September, Dofus claims more than 10,000 registered users and almost 15,000 total subscribers.
