Kingdom Hearts 3

The long-awaited conclusion to the Kingdom Hearts series finally released in early 2019 with Kingdom Hearts 3. Sora is back with Donald Duck, Goofy, King Mickey, and Riku, journeying through familiar Disney worlds from Frozen, Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., and more as they search for the seven guardians of light to thwart main villain Xehanort's evil plan. Kingdom Hearts 3 is the cheapest it's ever been for Prime Day and well-worth picking up for just $19.49.

Red Dead Redemption 2

If you've missed out on Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4 so far, there's basically no excuse to not grab the critically acclaimed adventure game at its current price: $30 at Walmart (where it's even cheaper than what you'll find at Amazon). The open-world Western adventure has it all, from horseback-riding and gunfight duels to bounty-hunting and poker games. Plus, there's even more to explore in Red Dead 2 Online, which continues to receive new content updates and free rewards via Twitch Prime.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 - on sale for $49.94 (was $60) at Amazon

Dragon Quest Builders 2

A Minecraft-inspired spinoff of the long-running Dragon Quest series, Dragon Quest Builders 2 has the player focused on gathering materials and building various structures while also exploring new areas and fighting enemies. With a retro-inspired map, Dragon Quest Builders 2 allows for online co-op for up to four players. The game released outside of Japan on July 12, so this is a great chance to save $10 on a Switch game that's less than a week old.

With Prime Day live now, more PS4 games are getting marked down for the occasion. While GameStop's storewide Summer Sale went live last week with some solid discounts, Amazon Prime Day is unsurprisingly starting to match or beat many of GameStop's best deals. One of those is GameStop's Kingdom Hearts 3 for $20 deal (you can now get it for $19.49 at Amazon). Plus, new release Dragon Quest Builders 2 is already discounted to $49.94.

However, it's still worth nothing other retailers are throwing non-Prime Day sales of their own this week and will likely begin matching many of Amazon's prices, such as Best Buy or Walmart, where you can get free two-day shipping on orders over $35 without a membership needed. Notably, Walmart has the best price on Red Dead Redemption 2 for $30, while Target holds the best discount on MLB The Show 19, also at $30. We've striven to include the best price across all major retailers below. At Amazon, make sure you're logged into your Prime account to view the full discount.

Get 12 months of PS Plus for $36

A PS Plus subscription is required for online multiplayer in most games; plus, it gets you free monthly games and exclusive discounts on games on PSN. At this point, it's basically a necessity for many PS4 gamers. While 12 months of PS Plus generally sells for $60, you can sometimes find a subscription at a discount. And while Amazon currently has PS Plus discounted to $40 for Prime Day, you can find a year-long subscription for even cheaper at MassGenie right now: $36, which is as cheap as you're likely to find it these days. To claim the deal, click the link below, and you'll be asked to either log in or create a free account. After that, you'll be redirected to checkout, where you'll see promo code 12MPSPSNMC automatically applied. After the Power Deal ends, you'll receive the PS Plus code via email, which you can then redeem in your PSN account. You can check out the PS Plus product page at MassGenie for more info.

Prime Day obviously refers to Amazon-specific deals, but you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't check out all the other retailers' sales happening right now in direct competition with Prime Day. Ebay, in particular, has had some of the best competing discounts, and one of its best deals right now is a brand-new PS4 Pro for $320 (plus tax) and free shipping.

PS4 Slim + God of War + Marvel's Spider-Man - on sale for $250 (was $359) at Amazon
PS4 Slim + God of War + Marvel's Spider-Man - on sale for $250 (was $359) at Amazon

PlayStation 4 Slim bundle with Horizon Zero Dawn, Marvel's Spider-Man

After selling out quickly on Monday, the popular Spider-Man/Horizon Zero Dawn PS4 Slim bundle is back in stock at Amazon. When you look at the product page, the old price will jump out at you; however, you'll see the Prime Day price in smaller font below. You can add the deal to your cart and complete checkout to claim the $250 price tag. It seems like some items may ship a bit later due to being out of stock, but that's no huge loss with how much you'll save (and gain) with this bundle.

PS4 Pro + God of War + Days Gone - on sale for $350 (was $463.61) at Amazon
PS4 Pro + God of War + Days Gone - on sale for $350 (was $463.61) at Amazon

PlayStation 4 Pro bundle with God of War, Days Gone

Many of Amazon's PS4 console deals sold out over the course of Monday, but one PS4 bundle is still available as of Tuesday: a PS4 Pro bundle with God of War, Days Gone, and a DualShock 4 controller for $350 (originally listed at $463.61). A PS4 Pro on its own usually sells for $400, Days Gone is currently on sale for $40, and God of War is discounted to $20 as part of Prime Day, so this bundle is a solid deal worth claiming before it sells out and/or returns to full price.

Now that Prime Day is finally in full swing, consoles and console bundles are starting to get serious discounts, and if you're in the market for a new PS4 Pro, this will likely be your best chance to snag one until Black Friday. A very good deal on the PS4 Pro itself is back in stock at Ebay, where the console is available for just $320. That's an incredible price on what is arguably the best game console on the market.

We've also just spotted the PS4 Pro selling for $315 at Google Express. The console is initially marked down to $350, and by using promo code 2019SUMMER10 at checkout, you'll see another $35 slashed off the price. However, you'll have to pay taxes on the product based on your home address, which added as much as $30 to our order when we tried this deal ourselves. So just know that taxes may offset that discount significantly, but it'll vary based on your location.

While day one of Prime Day saw several great PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro bundles, many of those deals quickly sold out. However, the fast-selling PS4 Slim bundle with Horizon Zero Dawn and Marvel's Spider-Man is back in stock for $250 (although some items may ship later), and the PS4 Pro bundle with God of War and Days Gone is still available for $350. If more PS4 consoles get marked down during Prime Day's final day, we'll include those deals below.

The UK certainly hasn't been left out when it comes to deals on PS4 consoles. There are plenty of deals on both slim PS4 consoles as well as PS4 Pros, with extra games, extra accessories, and in all sorts of colors.

Australia is still relatively new to Prime Day, and the offerings aren't as varied. But that doesn't mean you can't pick up a PS4 Pro at a great price!

DualShock 4 wireless controllers

While most PS4 consoles come with a DualShock 4 controller, you'll have to shell out even more money for additional controllers--and it's a good idea to have multiple for back-ups when your first controller dies as well as for local multiplayer. PS4 controllers are on sale for just $40 during Prime Day, and that includes various color models, from red and gold to camouflage.

From headsets and controllers to charging docks and more, accessories can only make your gaming experience better, and they're often crucial if you often play online with friends or enjoy local co-op. As Prime Day continues, we'll keep this page updated with the best PS4 accessory deals, but you can check out the best deals available now below.

was only interested in Darksiders 3 PS4 at $19.99 which is out of stock and was going to give Anthem a try for $14.99 but with the bad reviews I guess not, also the Division 2 is taking too much of my time.

So when do the sales for the games actually kick off?

Anyone thinking of spending $25 on Fallout 76 for PS4 - don't bother, send me a PM and i'll give you my copy free.

i played that wet bag of $hit for about 2 hours before never touching it again, i should have returned it immediately.

Also what is the sense of the gamespot support FAQ for password reset? FAQ says if "you forgot your password, no problem follow the link to reset"... yet step 2 is entering your old password!!!!!!!!if i am resetting a forgotten password why ask for my old password? i don't remember it, hence the reason for the password reset.

Gamespot - "PS4 Pro is arguably the best console on the market!"
XBox One X - ::clears throat::

I suppose that's why they said "arguably" lol

@jesterofbass: Its the best because it has the best library of games, end of discussion.

I'm really wonderin why all those other companies are trying to barge in on Amazon's biggest sale of the year instead of creating their own. They'd surely get more attention if they set theirs on any other day of the year, and people would likely be spending more money on them as well since there wouldn't be tons of competition from other companies trying to compete on the same day. The industry sure does weird things a lot of the time.

@AtzenkillerIf you do offer a sale during their sale you stand to get some of the sales that would have gone to their sale. If you don't you don't get those sales and they're lost to amazon:

@slakor: And if I do my sale on a different date then I get all the attention and all the money people have to spend at that time. Did I not mention this in the comment you replied to? Why try to get a tiny portion of the cake if you can have your own?

Avatar image for slakor

@AtzenkillerThey most likely will do a sale on a different date as well. This is to capitalize on the press of Amazon prime day and the general buying frenzy someone might get in buying a lot of stuff in one day.:
