It's Tuesday, and Amazon's Prime Day sale has entered its second and final day. Those in the market for a PS4 controller are in luck, as the Prime Day discount on DualShock 4s is still available, bringing official, first-party controllers down by $20. That means you can pick one up for just $40, which is about as cheap as you're likely to find Sony-made controllers. And don't forget, these can be used on not just PS4, but PC and certain mobile devices, too.

A variety of colors are available, including two camo options. While you may see different prices listed on their product pages (or the overall hub), items eligible for the $40 price should be denoted as such just below their price tags. If you're a Prime member, you'll be able to get the $40 price--just add the controller to your cart and proceed to checkout to confirm the correct price.

These will be the updated version of the controller released around the same time as the PS4 Pro, which means the touchpad is curved over the top of the controller a little, making it easier to hit without using your thumbs. Other than that, the controller is largely the same, solid PlayStation pad.

If you're in the market for Switch controllers too, the Prime Day sale has discounted Joy-Cons. As noted previously, peripherals like controllers rarely go on sale, and that's especially true of Nintendo's peripherals, so if you think you might want one soon, it's worth considering it now.

We'll be updating our Amazon Prime Day 2019 hub with the most noteworthy deals over the course of the two-day sale, so make sure to check back regularly. In addition to PS4, Nintendo, and Xbox deals, we'll be keeping an eye out for the best PC, tech, Blu-Ray, and collectible deals too, so all tastes will be covered.
