Empire Earth goes gold

Sierra has announced that its upcoming real-time strategy game Empire Earth is complete and will ship to stores on November 13. The game will let players take part in a variety of scenarios through the course of human history, beginning in the Stone Age and continuing into the present and the future. They will begin the game in control of an infant civilization, and they must try to build it into a great empire.

Empire Earth was created by Stainless Steel Studios, the developer headed by Age of Empires designer Rick Goodman, and it will be available in stores in mid-November for an approximate retail price of $49.95.
