Empire Interactive has announced End Game, a 3D action-shooter for the Sony PlayStation 2. The game is set in the near future and follows the exploits of a female heroine named Jade. At the game's onset, Jade leaves New York City in search of her boyfriend, Tyler, who has been kidnapped by a sinister organization known as the Dreamcorp. The game's action switches between the real world and the world of virtual reality and spans such locations as England, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.

"We're confident that End Game will become the benchmark against which all action-shooter and light-gun games will be measured," said Ian Higgins, CEO of Empire Interactive.

Empire Interactive hopes to create an immersive gameplay experience in End Game by giving the player access to two large worlds, a variety of vehicles, and a wide range of weapons. The game will be released this November. Empire Interactive is also considering Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo GameCube versions of End Game. Environmental renderings and concept sketches from the game are shown above.
