Elite Force Coming to the PS2

GameSpot has confirmed that Majesco will publish Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force for the Sony PlayStation 2. The company has secured the console publishing rights to the game - Activision published the PC version - and Majesco's in-house development team, Pipe Dreams Interactive, will be handling the port-over. The game will be similar to the PC version, but the developers hope to include new features that will appeal specifically to the console gamer. Further PS2-specific gameplay details will be revealed shortly. Elite Force is currently scheduled to ship in the fall of 2001.

On a related note, the first screenshots of the game, and further information, will be included in the January-issue of the official US PlayStation Magazine. GameSpot will bring you new details on the PC to PS2 port as soon as they emerge.
