Elder Scrolls Online's Next Expansion Detailed, Promises 20 Hours of Content
Orsinium is the MMO's biggest-ever DLC pack.
Bethesda and Zenimax Online Studios on Monday announced the next DLC pack for the PC and console MMO, The Elder Scrolls Online. The expansion is set in the home of the Orcs, Orsinium, and that's also the name of the add-on. It's described as the game's biggest-ever expansion, and it features a new zone, more quests, a single-player arena, and new public dungeons, among other things.

Orsinium promises "well over" 20 hours of gameplay, and is scheduled to launch on November 2 for PC and Mac. The Xbox One version will ship on November 17, with the PS4 edition coming a day later. The content is included with ESO Plus memberships ($15/month) or can be purchased by itself for $25.

Orsinium is the second major expansion pack for The Elder Scrolls Online, following The Imperial City, which was released in August for PC and September on console.
The Elder Scrolls Online was originally released for PC in April 2014 as a subscription-based game. In January 2015, the game transitioned to a pay-once model and was renamed Tamriel Unlimited. The console versions launched in June 2015.

The Maelstrom Arena
- A new solo arena challenge, The Maelstrom Arena, features nine combat rings and two different difficulty levels. Test your might against the fiercest enemies imaginable as you, and you alone, fight for your life and if victorious, are granted generous rewards.
New Public Dungeons
- Old Orsinium and Rkindaleft, Orsinium’s sprawling public dungeons, feature all new-challenges for both solo and group play.
