Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Trailer Is Full Of Political Intrigue
Expect to take down members of the great houses in the Morrowind expansion.
Bethesda has released a new trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online's upcoming Morrowind expansion, and the video highlights the political intrigue and assassination that will take place between the region's Great Houses.
The expansion brings players back to the setting of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and one of its main narrative arcs tasks players with becoming involved in the politicking of the Great Houses. According to a press release, players will have to "negotiate their competing allegiances to the three great houses: House Hlaalu, House Redoran, and House Telvanni."
The expansion also includes new player vs. player battlegrounds, a new Warden class that gives you a War Bear companion, and a story that tasks you with saving Vivec City from a meteor. You can read our interview with its developers here.
ESO: Morrowind launches on June 6 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but PC players who buy the digital upgrade or the digital collector's edition of the expansion will receive early access beginning on May 22. PC players who order the physical collector's edition can also get early access, but they'll have to contact Bethesda's support team. You can check out the expansion's minimum requirements on PC here.
The expansion costs $40 if you already own ESO, or you can buy both the base game and ESO: Morrowind for $60. The collector's edition is $60 if you own the base game and $80 if not.
