Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree PC Requirements Revealed

Unless your PC predates the Shattering of the Elden Ring, it should be able to run the expansion just fine.

The Shadow of the Erdtree minimum and recommended specs have been announced, so you can see what kind of hardware you'll need to play the Elden Ring expansion. The good news is that if your PC can handle Elden Ring, then you're ready for Shadow of the Erdtree as the requirements are roughly the same. Here's what you'll need for the expansion when it goes live on June 21:

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree minimum system requirements

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
  • Memory: - 12GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, AMD Radeon RX 580 4 GB, or Intel Arc A380 6 GB
  • DirectX: Version 12 (Feature level: 12)
  • Storage: 80GB

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree recommended system requirements

  • Operating System: Windows 10 / 11
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8GB, AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 8 GB, or Intel Arc A750, 8 GB
  • DirectX: Version 12 (Feature level: 12)
  • Storage: 80GB

These PC requirements aren't too taxing, but like with most From Software games, you're going to want to make certain that Shadow of the Erdtree runs as smoothly as possible. You can't dodge a telegraphed attack if the game sputters worse than a poorly maintained Mazda Miata. You'll also need to clear some space on your PC, and considering just how dense the lore of Elden Ring is, this isn't too surprising.
